Window Shutters From Shekhawati - 19th Century

These Indian window shutters are from the Shekhawati region of the Thar Desert, Rajasthan, and date to the 19^th century. The carving shows a strong Mughal influence. The window shutters are constructed from roheda wood and bound with iron and studded brass.
