This traditional Indian Diwali lamp crafted from wrought iron, is known as a toran. These were made predominantly by the Bastar people of Madhya Pradesh. Typically left unadorned, this particular version is painted in the Rajasthani style.

 

This lamp can be hung on a wall simply by turning the feet in line with the frame. The feet allow it to also be used freestanding.
