This sideboard is made from an old farmhouse grain store. The carcass is original, the doors have been modified as this chest originally would have been top opening. The whole piece is made in elm wood.
This would have come from the border area of Mongolia and Shanxi province, China.
This simple, yet, the sophisticated design would look great both in a contemporary setting or in a more traditional home.
